First of all, do download "EM-Upgrade" and follow up hereby

2.Clean bin. file (After you practice EM-Upgrade, do download New update S/W..if you fail to downloading, use this file)
3.New update S/W

If you fail to download by 1st method, use 2nd method for practicing successfully

1st emupgrade method
*. How to Install the EMUpgrade program for software download & upload.

1. Copy the "EMUpgrade.zip" file - compressed by winzip program.
(Recommend make new directory : C:EMUpgrade)
2. Extract EMUpgrade.zip in the "EMUpgrade" directory on your PC.
3. Press the "setup" file, then you can see the set up procedure.
4. Follow the instructions.
5. After setup finished, you can find the EMUpgrade program in the program files.
(press "Start" -->"program" -->"EMUpgrade")

**. How to download the main program & channel data from PC file to STB.

(The download can be possible only through "COM 1 port" of the PC, please
make free the "COM 1 port" of your PC to download the program).

1. Copy the upgraded new software binary file in proper directory.
(Recommend to make new directory : C:EMUpgradeSoftware)
2. Disconnect the receiver's AC power cord.
3. Connect the RS 232 cable (Crossed type - Pin No. 2 and 3) between PC and Receiver.
(RS232 should be connected on the "COM 1 port" on the PC)
4. Start EMUpgrade program then you can see the normal browse menu in program menu.
5. Find the new software file using browse button.
6. Then click start and later put the receiver's AC power ON.
7. Then through the fixed "COM 1 port" the new software program will be upgraded.



< Remark >
1. Please chek the current software version in the "System Information" menu.
2. If the current software version is bellow "2.00", please proceed following step to reset the Password.
- Press menu and Press OK on the "System Information" menu.
- In the System Information menu, Press "9 8 7 6" continueously.
- Then the password will be initialized "0 0 0 0".
3. And before proceeding "Installation", please activate the Factory Default in the "Installation" menu.

***. How to upload the Main program & channel data from STB to PC file.

(The upload can be possible only through "COM 1 port" of the PC, please
make free the "COM 1 port" of your PC to upload the program).

1. Connect the RS232 cable (Crossed type - Pin No. 2 & 3) between PC and STB.
(RS232 should be connected on the "COM 1 port" on the PC)
2. Excute the "EMUpgrade program".
3. Select the upload in the "EMUpgrade" program.
4. Press browse button to select the directory to save the upload file.
5. Type the file name to save the upload program then press "Start".
6. Then Turn on the STB and press Menu.
7. Select "Installation" and press OK.
8. Select "Transfer Data" and choose Main S/W or Channel to upload.
9. Press OK, then upload will be activated.
10. In the PC's "EMUpgrade" program, user can see a bar of uploading procedure.
11. In the STB, use can see a counter of uploading procedure.

2nd emupgrade method
1. the solution for installation of "Emupgrade"

1) first of all, you'll be able to receive the files of /"emupgrade"/ "clean.bin" /"new S/W" /from me
2) next, you can search for the "setup" drawn computer feature......please double-click there..
3) If you face on "OK" block,press it withoue hesitation...
4) next, the screen "computer icon" press...
5) next,"popup icon"click
6) close folder and anywhere(ex/ my document..or folder...) you want to save it

2. the solution for installation of"clean.bin"

In the first place, press the button "start" below of computer clear screen monitor... there..press "Emupgrade" of "program" block...next, check up the version....next click "Browse button" ...next click a folder (ex/ my document..or folder...) have saved yet .....there...you can see the "clean.bin" press this ...if same screen display,press the button "start" next......turn off the receiver ("power button" of set top box ) next...turn on the receiver again....next......exit

3. the solution for installation of the improved S/W program

press the button "start" below of computer clear screen monitor... there..press "Emupgrade" of "program" block...next, check up the version....next click "Browse button" ...next click a folder (ex/ my document..or folder...) have saved yet .....there...you can see the "new S/W" press this ...if same screen display,press the button "start" next......turn off the receiver ("power button" of set top box ) next...turn on the receiver again....next...... exit
